Doroti Cuestas is a researcher in the making, committed to improving air quality and data accessibility. Currently, she holds a degree in environmental engineering and is a master’s student in Environmental Sciences at the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Peru. She is a junior researcher in the CityMove project , where she combines scientific research with practical applications to improve physical activity, reduce non-communicable diseases, and minimize exposure to pollutants in urban environments. With experience in projects involving walkability, air quality monitoring, and environmental co-benefit studies, her work is driven by a passion for environmental justice and equity. One of her goals is to reduce the information gap in her city, advocating for data accessibility and strengthening air quality monitoring.
